Donations

Give to UNAC-V

When you give a donation to the Vancouver Branch of the United Nations Association in Canada, you are helping to promote global awareness and further the work of the United Nations through educational and recognition programs, partnerships, sponsorship of media events, and fundraising. UNAC-V aims to inform, inspire, and engage people in Metro Vancouver to accomplish the vital work of the United Nations and for that, we need your help.

Some of the many issues UNAC-V addresses include poverty, gender inequities, human rights, cross-cultural understanding, environmental degradation, and threats to peace and security – all brought together under the umbrella of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Your donations help us illuminate these issues.

Please be sure to specify in the note section of the web page that the donation or membership is for the UNAC-V Branch.

Donate A Car

Donate a Car Canada accepts Vehicle Donations for UNAC Vancouver. Free towing is provided in most areas across Canada, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximize your donation. When you donate your car, truck, RV, boat, or motorcycle to UNAC Vancouver,  Donate A Car Canada, it will either be recycled or sold at auction (depending on its condition, age and location). Donate a Car Canada will look after all the details to make it easy for UNAC Vancouver to benefit. After your vehicle donation is complete, our charity will send you a tax receipt and will put your gift to good use. Please click here to donate a vehicle.

Model United Nations

UNAC-V is working with local schools to encourage students to participate in Model United Nations (MUN). This fund is established to help students who cannot afford fees associated with MUN. UNAC-V sees MUN as a valuable experience and desires to see all children, regardless of socioeconomic status, engaged in global conversations.

Please use the drop-down menu on the right-hand side of the page to select “Project: Model UNs.”
