Renate Shearer Award
Introduction
In celebration of United Nations International Human Rights Day, the United Nations Association in Canada—Vancouver Branch is proud to announce that nominations are now open for the 2024 Renata Shearer Award. This award recognizes individuals and or groups / organizations that have made significant contributions towards advancing human rights, dignity, and justice for all—core principles of the United Nations.
We invite you to nominate deserving candidates whose work has made a lasting impact, whether through groundbreaking research, community leadership, or tireless advocacy locally, nationally and or globally. The Renata Shearer Award seeks to honor those whose efforts are transforming our community and making strides in ensuring a just and dignified future for everyone.
